The large white marble tomb is unmissable in the central nave of the St. Vitus Cathedral. Queen Anne, nicknamed the Mother of the Nation, and her husband Ferdinand lie there. Read the half-century-old story about great love, the beginning of which was a dynastic marriage when the bride, at twelve, did not even know who they would choose as her husband. They loved each other very much and had fifteen children together. Ferdinand outlived his wife by 17 years, and when he was dying, he held her picture in his hands on his deathbed. They left behind a romantic story and the Royal Garden at Prague Castle, Queen Anne's Summer Palace with a typical green roof in the shape of an inverted ship's keel, and the Singing Fountain standing in front of it. Also, the Zikmund Bell of the St. Vitus Cathedral, replaced the original bell, which was destroyed in 1541 during the enormous fire in Prague. During this fire 60% of the houses in the Lesser Town burned down, and Hradčany was almost entirely destroyed.
